For a long time I was in a warm comfort zone regarding my kids and their lack of interest in technology or television. I am from the camp that do not see any ‘real’ value in technology for young kids – believing firmly that kids need to be immersed in nature and other ‘real’ things rather than early exposure to any forms of technology.
Corporal Punishment in the home has yet to be banned in South Africa. There is a very slow progress to making this happen.
